I love triathlons. I have been competing since 2005 and never made it to the top 10, but it is a great way to stay fit.
Sprint distance is my flavour (roughly 750m swim, 20km ride, 5km run) and sometimes olympic distance which is basically double.
It’s really not as hard as it may seem; with a little training I honestly believe anyone can complete a sprint triathlon. It’s amazing what you learn about you mental toughness, a memorable achievement, and there is a strong triathlon culture here in Melbourne.
